911
If a student is determined to have a life threatening injury or illness, emergency medical personnel will be notified immediately. A parent or guardian will then be notified and advised of the action taken and other pertinent information. If a parent requests that 911 is to be called, the parent's request will be honored.

 

FEVERS, VOMITING OR DIARRHEA
Students with a temperature of 100 degrees or greater or vomiting due to illness or diarrhea, will be sent home and advised to seek medical attention. Students should be symptom free for 24 hours before returning to school.
 
EARLY RELEASE DUE TO ILLNESS
In order for students to be released from the clinic during the school day, the parent/guardian will be required to report to the front office and provide a picture ID.  Students' absence will only be excused if the student has been seen in the clinic prior to contacting the parent.
 
ELEVATOR KEYS
Any student requiring use of the elevator may obtain a key from a clinic staff member upon providing:
  • Written doctors excuse
  • Completion of Student Elevator Key Form
  • $10.00 key deposit- Deposits will be refunded when key is returned

COMMUNICABLE CONDITIONS

Students with any suspected communicable conditions will be handled according to the Florida School Health Administrative Guidelines.
